We only collect the data necessary for the proper functioning of our store and to provide you with the best customer experience.

  • Phone number (order tracking and, with your consent, SMS/WhatsApp marketing)

2.2 Payment data

Payment information is processed directly by our secure providers (Stripe, PayPal). Coconutsplit does not store any bank details.

2.3 Order and transaction data

  • Items viewed, added to cart, purchased, or returned

  • Customer reviews you publish (text and photos)

2.4 Technical and navigation data

    • IP address and browser type 

    • Navigation path and pages visited

    • Anonymized recordings via Microsoft Clarity (only after your consent)

3. Why do we collect your data?

Each processing of your data is based on a specific legal basis under the GDPR:

  • Order Fulfillment (Contract): To process payments, prepare and deliver your orders, and manage returns. 

  • Customer Support (Contract/Legitimate Interest): To answer your questions and assist you before and after your purchase.

  • Marketing (Consent): To send newsletters, promotional offers, and abandoned cart reminders. You can opt-out at any time.

  • Analytics and Improvement (Consent): To understand how you use our site via Microsoft Clarity and improve the user experience.

  • Security (Legitimate Interest/Legal Obligation): To prevent fraud and protect our customers and site.

  • Legal Obligations: To maintain invoices and accounting records.

4. Who do we share your data with?

Our commitment: Your data is never sold, rented, or traded to third parties for commercial prospection. We value your privacy as much as our own.

Sharing is strictly limited to the service providers necessary for our business operations:

  • Hosting: Shopify (Ireland).

  • Payment: Stripe, PayPal, Klarna.

  • Logistics: La Poste / Colissimo.

  • Marketing: Klaviyo (Emails), Meta (Ads), Google (Analytics), TikTok, Pinterest.

  • Analysis: Microsoft Clarity (Anonymized behavior).

5. Data transfers outside the European Union

Some service providers (Shopify, Meta, Microsoft, Google) are located in the United States. We use the Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure the security of these transfers. 

6. How long do we keep your data?

    • Orders/Invoices: 10 years (Legal requirement). (

    • Customer Account: As long as it is active + 3 years of inactivity.

    • Marketing: 3 years after your last interaction.

    • Cookies: 13 months maximum.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Our site uses cookies. A banner allows you to accept or refuse each category during your first visit. You can change your preferences at any time.

8. Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, and object to the processing of your data.
